For the heck of it I told her sure I’d give it a try and removed symantec endpoint from my laptop and installed Vipre and have to say wow, I’m very impressed my memory utilization dropped by over 200mb right off the bat and my system’s performance once again was nice and fast.  While working thoughout the day I noticed that vipre popped up and said it was performing a scan and to be honest if it hadn’t said something I would have never noticed.

Now this antivirus isn’t free but if you had the option of spending 60.00 or so for symantec/trend micro/etc I’d rather spend 29.00 for this any day!
